Service Description
Instructor: Tobias Hangler Duration: 1 day 8 a.m. ~ 7 p.m. Location: 8111 Gratwein (see contact / directions) Slots per course: 3-4 Pure blacksmithing! In this course, you will forge your own forestry axe using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Since the rustic axe shape with a forged finish requires little grinding work, this course mainly involves strenuous blacksmithing work, which is why being in good physical shape is very important. Once the axe has been hardened and the wooden handle has been shaped, the last step is to set the handle and sharpen it. Lunch is included in the course fee. NOTES Participation in the course is possible from 16 years of age with parental consent. People with pacemakers can only participate under certain restrictions. Pregnant and breastfeeding women cannot participate.
Cancellation Policy
All courses can be rebooked or cancelled free of charge up to 20 days before the start of the course. In the event of short-term cancellations or non-attendance due to illness, we can refund the course fee if we have a doctor's confirmation. We ask for your understanding that the course fee cannot otherwise be refunded in the event of non-attendance.
