Forged in collaboration with Motion Cooking in Graz, this Bunka knife represents the union of culinary passion and blacksmithing craftsmanship.
Each knife is hand-forged from carbon steel, hardened to 63 HRC, and finished with a C-grind that enhances food release and provides a light, precise cutting feel. The geometry combines performance and control, ensuring ingredients glide cleanly off the blade.

The handles are made from ebonized Austrian walnut, carefully shaped for balanced ergonomics and a natural connection between hand and steel. The blade and handle design are based on the knife that Gerhard forged himself here in our workshop.

This is a small, handcrafted series. Minor variations in dimensions and surface texture are part of the making process and make each knife a unique piece.
