Hardening service for your ApexUltra blades. If you want to send us your blades for hardening, please select the appropriate number below and order them via the webshop. Then send us your blades with a sheet of paper on which the outer contour of the knife is traced and the order number is noted. We need 1-3 weeks to carry out the hardening and send the package back. This service is intended for all knives that only need to be hardened and tempered. So if you make knives using the stock removal process and the steels do not require normalization or fine grain annealing. The knives are hardened by hand in an oil bath using the individual hardening process according to the parameter sets we have optimized for ApexUltra (mono steel and laminates), cooled between straightening plates and tempered twice.
