This knife was made by Tobias as a showpiece during a course. The focus of the work is on the performance of the knife. The asymmetrical C-grind ensures excellent food release so that the slices stay on the board rather than stick to the blade. The fuller does not go all the way to the handle to give the fingers more comfort on the throat. The flat ground left side ensures that the blade can be easily guided along the fingers. The spine of the blade and the heel are rounded to prevent pressure points.
